Most issues with ELK Player fall into two categories: a problem with the app itself (installation, activation, cache), or a problem with your playlist source (an invalid or unreachable M3U URL).
ELK Player does not provide playlists or media content, so it cannot fix a broken or expired playlist URL from a third-party source — only issues with the app itself.
Turn your device off from the power source for about 1 minute to clear the cache, then try again.
Each TV has two MAC addresses (Wi-Fi and Ethernet). Since app version 3.0.0, LG webOS TVs use a device ID instead of the MAC address; it activates automatically after launching the app if your TV was previously activated. You can use your old MAC to upload a playlist too.
Make sure you activated using the correct MAC address on the Activation page. If the issue persists after a cache clear (power off for ~1 minute), your activation itself is not affected by playlist problems.
Try turning your device off from the power cord for about 1 minute to clear the device cache. Also try long-pressing "0" or "CH", or a long click on "Reload", to force a reload of the playlist URL (this disables the app cache). If the issue persists, the playlist URL itself may be invalid or temporarily unreachable — this is a playlist source issue, not an ELK Player issue.
Confirm the playlist URL was entered correctly on the My List page. ELK Player does not provide playlists or verify third-party playlist sources, so a playlist that never loads is most often an issue with that source, not with the app.
